The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise Business Systems/Finance & Program Management Systems teams in Hazelwood, MO; Dallas, TX; or Renton, WA.
This role provides hands-on server operations and implementation leadership for a key enterprise finance platform. The system performs elements of forecasting, rates development, forecast and rates allocations, development and maintenance of opportunities and risk associated with cost management, and reporting associated with these functions.
The successful candidate will take a proactive ownership posture, driving patching cadence definition and documentation, leading migration/cutover execution, coordinating vendor and infrastructure teams, and improving operational discipline (plans, runbooks, schedules, and stakeholder-facing communications).
Position Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day operational readiness activities for server-based environments (prod and non-prod), including service operations, restarts, and health validation
Lead patching planning and execution, including building/maintaining patch calendars (security and bug-fix cadence), documenting step-by-step patch procedures, validation criteria, and coordinating required approvals and change control artifacts
Build and maintain a clear view of in-work items (backlog), drive daily progress, and escalate blockers appropriately
Lead production implementation planning for medium-to-large changes including detailed schedules, task lists, cutover/rollback plans, validation checklists, and post-deploy stabilization steps
Coordinate cross-functional execution with infrastructure, database, network, security, and vendor teams; ensure responsibilities and timelines are explicit
Provide audience-appropriate status communications (business impact, testing needs, outage windows, compliance actions, key risks)
Act as technical lead/escalation point during critical incidents and planned changes; ensure follow-through through stabilization
Build and maintain a clear view of in-work items (backlog), drive daily progress, and escalate blockers appropriately
Lead production implementation planning for changes including detailed schedules, task lists, cutover/rollback plans, validation checklists, and post-deploy stabilization steps
Support environment improvements and operational hardening efforts (e.g., disaster recovery readiness, environment alignment, decommissioning unused servers, backup verification, monitoring/performance considerations)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in post-implementation support, help desk & hyper-care operations, system sustainment, and upgrade management
5+ years of experience testing internal controls, including key SOX controls
5+ years of experience with supporting regulatory compliance processes/audits (e.g. SOX, DFARS, etc)
5+ years of experience in ITGC domains (e.g., access, change management, IT operations) and how they support financial reporting reliance
5+ years of experience analyzing requirements to develop action plans and facilitate implementation efforts
Experience with Application Development & Sustaining (AD&S) framework for information technology applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience serving as a SOX control performer, control owner, and/or process architect, including control design, execution, evidence collection, and remediation support
Experience with Oracle Hyperion or similar enterprise financial platform operations
Experience with ServiceNow or comparable Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool
Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, and basic networking/security concepts
Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)/Agile environment
Experience producing executive-ready summaries and implementation communications (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft (MS) Project)
Experience with strong written and verbal communication skills

Summary pay range: $119,850 – $173,650
