Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Specialist Co-Brand position will drive acquisitions growth within the United Employee channels. This individual will be based primarily on-site at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), with additional responsibilities at OHare International Airport (ORD) and other assigned airports. This position requires building strong in-person relationships with Flight Attendants, Airport Agents, Club Agents, and airport leadership. This individual will analyze results, which may be raw data, and extrapolate insights to optimize growth in their territories and communicate value with leadership to continue to drive acquisitions and leader buy-in.
Employee and leader engagement:
- Be the local, on-site co-brand program subject matter expert (SME) for employees, proactively encouraging and motivating them to participate, sharing updates, answering questions; ability to work non-traditional hours to support events and meet with operational employees which may include early mornings and late evenings. Project based weekend events may occur.
- Conduct base visits independently and with airport teams to encourage increased participation; may include day trips or overnight travel to other locations
- Lead roadshows at airport, managing all aspects including collateral, swag, marketing, employee follow-ups and proactively welcoming/encouraging employees to stop by event and engage in deeper conversations to drive results
- Grow participation among employees and drive account volumes for their airport and regions to meet KPIs
- Engage with local leaders to share updates on program, collaborate on ideas to grow program
- Collaborate with peers to share insights / feedback with the goal of optimizing the program for all
Reporting:
- Track performance of their base and regions to drive account growth, including participation data. Includes running data, analyzing trends, and creating reports for airport leadership, and weekly/monthly check-in meetings with senior leadership to discuss trends
- Understand financials of their territories and overall, and be able to speak to and present to leadership monthly the value this program is driving
- Leverage data to identify new engagement tactics and personalize communications/interactions to employees
Program management:
- Handle compliance and collateral within their regions, not only ensuring the teams have appropriate materials to promote the card but also that current/correct collateral is displayed; includes managing and maintaining inventory levels of all collateral and swag
- Partner with the leadership and supervisors in the airport to resolve any open concerns from our bank partner, should a compliance issue occur
- Work with partner to develop and report out on compliance and training issues across the system
- Make recommendations to marketing, incentive structures, etc. to larger group
Training:
- Support employees, including new hires, via structured classroom training, such as in-person presentations at home hub or other locations, virtual sessions, etc.; may include day trips or overnight travel to other locations
- Make recommendations to training collaterals, including sharing employee feedback with team
NOTE: This position will be onsite at Washington Dulles International Airport 5 days per week with varying hours to support events and meet with operational employees which will include one Saturday per month, some early mornings (5:00 AM) and late evenings (10:00 PM). Willingness to travel two to three days per month or as needed will be required with occasional overnight trips.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of sales or airport/inflight experience, 1-2 years of team leadership or mentoring experience
- Sales focused experience
- Ability to walk extensively throughout the terminal gates, main lobby and onboard aircraft as well as lifting boxes of promotional materials, literature collateral and swag/company branded items up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work with deadlines and manage complex matrixed projects
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to actively communicate results and recommendations to leadership
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and gain alignment cross-functionally

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
