As a Contract Administrator - Level 4 (Senior Principal), your role at Dulles, VA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. The Contract Administrator will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) Space Security Systems (SPS) programs. This position requires a basic understanding of DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
In this job, you will:
- Monitor contract and associated program(s) to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood
- Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
- Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information
- Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System or Enterprise Accounting System
- Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Strong technical acumen in M365
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion.
- An In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFAR and experience with different contract types
- Extensive Proposal Support is a plus.
- Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
What Sets You Apart:
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.
- An In-depth knowledge of UCC
- Experience supporting ECPs and REAs
- Extensive Proposal Support is a plus.
- NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)
About Tactical Space Systems:Provider of small-and-medium class satellites for commercial and government customers and pioneer in human and robotic in-space satellite servicing and logistics systems. We support 4 orbits of satellites and national security and space security systems.
About Business Management:Integration of sector financial/business strategies to support of company and sector-wide objectives, including accounting operations, contracts management, pricing and estimating, compliance and asset and property management.
Salary Range: $113,500 - $170,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
