Based on the orientations of the Program Management Director, the Senior Network Planning Analyst contributes to the definition of Transats flight program for future seasons. He/she determines the service strategies and aircraft types to be used, integrating various parameters such as market growth, competition, network economics, as well as technical and operational constraints. He/she assesses the feasibility of schedules by ensuring the right trade-off between operational and commercial performance and by working in collaboration with the Scheduling and Operations team.
Responsabilities:
- Contributes to defining the economic and strategic optimum for the entire network, maximizing route economy;
- Evaluates development potential (frequencies, aircraft types, schedules); proposes schedules variants based on demand assessment, competitive context, and feedback;
- Evaluates the operational aspect of the schedule, taking into account several operational constraints: airport slots, minimum ground times, connectivity with partners, minimum connecting times, crew positioning, time changes, etc.);
- Monitors route profitability trends and the competitive environment;
- Makes diagnoses, builds analyses and provides recommendations;
- Prepares presentations leading to the approval of strategic choices related to the future network;
- Contributes to the link between the Network Planning and the Schedulling team;
- Rely on the expertise of other departments (operations, finance, revenue management, marketing, sales, products, etc.) for network development;
