What you will do:
Raytheon ELCAN is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Supplier Quality to help ensure our suppliers meet the highest standards in performance, compliance, and delivery. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality & Mission Assurance. This individual will ensure that external vendors providing components or assemblies to Raytheon ELCAN meet the high standards and specifications of our products.
Working closely with Supply Chain, the Senior Analyst, Supplier Quality will be the interface between our supply base and internal stakeholders for critical and technically advanced programs. Responsibilities will include maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements in the supply chain. You will play a key role in ensuring ELCAN products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in supplier evaluation and selection by conducting assessments and audits of potential suppliers.
- Perform detailed assessments, audits and qualification processes for new and existing suppliers. Ensure suppliers meet quality, regulatory and performance standards, including compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and other aerospace certifications as required.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships along with Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers through requirements, quality notes and statements of work.
- Interpret these requirements to ensure supply base both understands and complies with these quality requirements.
- Establish and implement supplier performance metrics including inspection plans, testing and validation of components.
- Monitor trends in supplier performance and initiate projects to improve quality, cost and delivery.
- Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean tools such as RTX Core.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance and Supply chain to meet or exceed product quality through the entire supply chain.
- Identify and lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS) activities related to supplier quality issues to prevent recurrence of defects and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, audits and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS). Track and report on audit findings and work with suppliers to close gaps.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading quality initiatives in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Experience with Quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO13485, or equivalent.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, capable of interpreting complex data sets and making informed decisions.
- Experience with supplier audits and compliance is an asset.
- Experience with hardware inspection and Ability to work with technical engineering specifications and drawings.
