Your mission is to conduct comprehensive spanet research, develop advanced predictive models, and provide actionable insights that shape the future of aviation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our 5-year strategic plan, influence high-stakes decisions, and propel Bombardier to new heights. - Lead the development and the execution of spaneting research projects including competitive analysis, spanet sizing, and spanet forecasts driving strategic decisions and innovation.
- Dive deep into external/internal data and business jet spanet trends to provide comprehensive spanet analysis & actionable insights to senior leadership
- Develop advanced models that accurately forecast industry trends, predict aircraft deliveries and orders, monitor movement in the spanet for used aircraft, and others
- Provide strategic data analysis and recommendations for spanet, customer and competitor analysis for decision support and to drive strategic objectives for various business units
- Prepare detailed reports about spanet conditions and present findings to support business decisions
- Support Bombardier’s strategic & product planning processes by providing regular updates and insights to assist in governance process
- Partner and collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Afterspanet Service, Defense, Finance, Customer Service and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on the strategy
- Support key company functions through ad hoc requests
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
- You possess university degree in relevant field (Economics, Marketing, Business, or others); Master’s degree preferred
- You have minimum 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in spanet analysis. You have a strong business knowledge related to the aerospace industry or related fields
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret spanet data and make informed decisions
- You possess solid modelling and statistical analysis skills with a creative flair
- You have the ability to work independently & under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability
- You are rigorous, persistent, innovative, detail oriented and like working with people
- You are skilled in writing, presenting and communicating information with all levels of the company; you are a proven storyteller with excellent verbal and writing skills
- You are fast-learner capable of learning programming and regularly use statistical software
- You have previous programming experience with statistical software (R, Alteryx, others…) considered a plus
- You have experience with data visualization tools and BI software (e.g. PowerBI, etc) considered a plus
- You are an expert in using MS Office suite
- You are Bilingual (English is a must, French)
