Job Description:
Mission of the Role: We are looking for an organized and methodical professional to lead the implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS) on the manufacturing line. The selected individual will be key in translating corporate regulations into a practical and effective &34;Local governance model,&34; ensuring its correct documentation and the team&39;s involvement throughout this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively lead the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) on the manufacturing line.
- Analyze, interpret, and adapt corporate SMS regulations to local operations and specificities.
- Design, develop, and document the local governance model clearly and methodically, drafting procedures, work instructions, and protocols that describe the local application of corporate regulations.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with different teams and organizational levels to define processes, reach agreements, and ensure understanding of the local governance model.
- Utilize interpersonal and relational skills to engage with personnel, foster collaboration, and secure the necessary involvement for effective SMS implementation.
- Be assertive in communication to ensure compliance with deadlines and the active participation of all involved.
- Identify training needs related to the SMS and collaborate in their development and delivery.
- Conduct rigorous and documented follow-up on the implementation progress, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Actively contribute to promoting a strong safety culture in the manufacturing environment.
- Prepare detailed and structured follow-up reports on the status of SMS implementation.
Requirements:
- Academic Background: Technical or organizational university degree. A degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Industrial, Industrial Organization, or similar) will be highly valued.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the aeronautical sector, preferably in manufacturing, quality, safety, or continuous improvement areas.
- Languages: High level of English (preferably C1), with special emphasis on oral skills (fluent conversation and high listening comprehension).
- Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Management Systems (Quality, Safety, Environment).
- Familiarity with regulations and standards applicable to the aeronautical sector.
- Previous knowledge of SMS will be valued, although specific training will be provided.
- Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership and meeting facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in building relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to negotiate, mediate, and reach effective consensus in groups.
- Assertiveness and ability to motivate and engage the team.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, and a methodical approach to task execution.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to document and transcribe information clearly, accurately, and structurally.
- Proactivity, autonomy, and results orientation.
