As the Production Planner you will be responsible for Forward Forecast Order Planning & buying inventory to fulfil the demand for the production team as well as the sales team. This role will also be a key support for all the day-to-day operations in supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement materials management strategies consistent with the customer requirements and working capital plans
- Deploy the key material strategies in alignment with Global Materials strategies
- Establish a MOS (Management Operating System) to effectively collaborate with the business and leadership teams
- Develop material management improvement plans that encompass both delivery operations and the supply base
- Think strategically and critically analyse details
Qualifications
- Previous Production Planning experience
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems
- Strong communication skills to deal with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Commercial acumen
- Negotiation and influencing skills
