Job Description:
Cherry Aerospace, a leader in the aerospace industry, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Product Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on providing critical data insights and analysis to support our aerospace products in the marketplace, enabling the sales team to maximize revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance our competitive position.
As a Product Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, operations, and engineering—to analyze sales trends, customer needs, and market conditions for our aerospace product portfolio. Your work will help optimize product strategies, guide pricing decisions, and ensure that our products meet the high standards and requirements of the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide insights to guide product strategies and sales efforts.
- Product Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess the performance of aerospace products by analyzing sales volumes, margins and customer feedback. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance product positioning and sales effectiveness.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings in the aerospace sector. Use findings to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Pricing Strategy Support: Collaborate with the sales and operations to develop competitive pricing models that reflect the value of aerospace products, taking into account market conditions, costs, and customer requirements.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Support the sales team in forecasting demand for products by providing data-driven insights into market trends, product performance, and customer behavior. Prepare regular performance reports and updates on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Sales Enablement: Work with sales teams to provide product insights, competitive intelligence, and data-driven tools to enhance their ability to sell our products effectively. Ensure that sales teams are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge and customer-facing materials.
- Customer Segmentation and Analysis: Analyze customer data to identify key segments, such as OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), MROs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), and aerospace suppliers, and recommend strategies to tailor product offerings for these segments.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to align product strategies with sales goals, ensuring smooth product launches, timely deliveries, and effective go-to-market plans.
- Risk and Opportunity Identification: Identify potential risks and opportunities related to product performance, sales strategies, and market conditions. Recommend mitigation strategies or product adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales analysis, product analysis, or a related role, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong understanding of the aerospace industry, including knowledge of aerospace products, systems, and the regulatory landscape (e.g., FAA, EASA, AS9100).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and concise manner to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all analyses.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the aerospace, defense, or aviation industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of the sales processes and product lifecycle in the aerospace sector.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with pricing models specific to aerospace products and services.
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications are a plus.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $85,300 to $106,600 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
