Network Analyst

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Network Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:

Partial onsite: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and as needed
W2 position; 12 months
Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance.

Position description:

The Network Analyst will be responsible for implementing security remediations, managing network migrations, and providing network support for new business applications.
Daily tasks include defining network structures, leveraging automation, utilizing Cisco ACI for next-generation networking, and supporting disaster recovery efforts.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with peers and partner IT teams, ability to pivot to multiple tasks, and strong troubleshooting skills.

About the team:

The Network Change Team is responsible for making the changes required to facilitate all connectivity for the entire Organization.
This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of the organization&39;s network infrastructure.
We are a collaborative team that is focused on providing support to our customers to ensure the business applications they support are available and operational.
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM are the standard work hours; additional hours will be required as business dictates. Overtime, On Call, Weekends and Off Hour work will be required

Minimum required work experience:

6 years of network or other job-related experience
Preferred: 8 years-of experience working in infrastructure/network environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
