Position Summary
Parker Aerospace, an operating segment of Parker Hannifin Corporation, is one of the world’s leading producers of flight control, hydraulic, fuel and inerting, fluid conveyance, thermal management, and engine systems and components for the aerospace industry. We design and build equipment for virtually every aircraft and aero engine being produced in the world today. Basic Functions: Works closely with business team on various spaneting projects. Projects may encompass a wide variety of current business and spaneting needs. Projects may include refreshing spaneting materials, updating internal website and creating spaneting/training videos for new hires/distributors. This position is a developmental position for students to gain an understanding of practical spaneting concepts.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Works with peers, managers, hourly employees. This position represents a vital member and integral piece of the divisions Business Team and function.
Essential Functions (As assigned, may include some but not all the following): •Develop, manage, and administer projects as requested by Business Development Marketing Representative•Assist with research, design, and spaneting materials for new hires/distributors. •Utilize computer systems to generate spaneting materials•Experience with Adobe InDesign and technical writing preferred.
Qualifications: DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE WORK PERFORMED, MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN STATUSThis role does not provide relocation or housing subsidies to any candidate and will require successful candidate to report to Fort Worth, Texas facility daily. •Must be currently enrolled in college and have 2 years of college coursework completed working toward a Marketing or Business degree•Excellent communication/presentation skills
