Responsibilities
The Administrator, II Learning Solutions will provide general administrative and technical support for LMS. By leveraging exceptional communication, technical, and teamwork abilities, they will effectively address the complex demands of the organization. The Administrator, II Learning Solutions will collaborate closely with Stakeholders, Program Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and Instructors to ensure a comprehensive and seamless LMS setup, configuration, maintenance, and daily operation. They will partner with training and development professionals to deliver cutting-edge programs and content tailored to the organizations requirements.
They will assist and back-up other administrators for any issues that are brought in for 24 x 7 support. They will collaborate with training and development professionals to deliver responsive programs and content to meet the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
LMS SETUP, MAINTENANCE & OPERATION:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of LMS to ensure seamless execution to serve learning needs
- Monitors LMS enrollments, creates & assign LMS courses, configures curriculums, uploads course content, loads schedules, maintains LMS training calendar & master course catalog, adds, updates, & retires courses.
- Configure, maintain, & continuously Improve LMS tools, dashboards & control panels, Set up data definitions (standard & custom fields across LMS objects), group definitions, user definitions & access rights (Administrator, Management, End-user), and instructor-led training item definitions
- Setup WBT for both internally and vendor-developed course content, establishing the master LMS training catalogue,
- Define roles, permissions, groups and structure of LMS for learners.
- Driving the identification and establishment of training requirements, as well as creating tailored training plans for specific job roles, in partnership with management.
- Offering expert advice to various lines of business on leveraging the LMS and supporting business requirements surrounding training plan administration, while maintaining data integrity through close collaboration with stakeholders and IT resources.
TRAINING RECORDS & REPORT SCHEDULING SUPPORT:
- Leading the review, testing, and implementation of system upgrades or patches, while proactively notifying training teams of updates, mitigating potential disruptions.
- Continuously monitoring the progress of assigned team member training to guarantee annual requirements are met, preparing comprehensive compliance reports and communicating concerns to appropriate leaders, and ensuring accurate records of all professional learning opportunities.
- Serving as the content/program owner for blended learning programs deployed in the LMS, including adding new content, updating or retiring outdated materials, analyzing usage and adoption, and ensuring assignments are processed and tracked effectively (right content-right audience-right time).
LMS USER TRAINING & SUPPORT:
- Provide customer training & support of LMS including answering questions, providing advice & basic troubleshooting to resolve problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues, Refer to LMS vendor for problem resolution as necessary.
- Train & mentor LMS Power Users in support of their programs. Design & deliver new hire & rollout training sessions on LMS as directed. Create job-aids, toolkits, other collateral to document and communicate LMS processes and best practices
LMS REPORTING:
- Design & run scheduled & ad-hoc reports to monitor key metrics for roster management, facilities coordination, learner activity tracking, engagement, success, trends, monthly enrollments, completions, training evaluations, training compliance, and surveys.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree or relevant years of industry experience in HR, IT and/or LMS system management, or related areas of study.
Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a learning administration role
- Report development and analysis expertise with Excel to manipulate and create reports. SQL a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise at partnering cross-functionally with client partners and internal stakeholders.
