Lead Manufacturing Specialist- EM Operations

Most importantly, you’ll share in our pride and purpose that affects the lives of millions around the world!In the Lead Manufacturing Specialist- Engine Modernization Operations role, you will support the EM charter of transforming Supply Chain core transactional systems to enable business process transformation by implementing standards across all EM workstreams and partnering with Supply Chain sites and DT to support and enhance EM solutions post deployment. This role will support the Engines Modernization initiative achieve business outcomes through strong operation rhythms, deployment of lean tools and continuous improvement of processes and collaboration across our stake-holding community. This role will directly influence the teams ability to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory & productivity goals and objectives. To do well in the role, you must have a combination of communication skills, project management expertise, an open mind to challenge inefficient processes where appropriate, an eye for detail, and great organizational skills.This role is open to a remote opportunity in the following states: OH, KY, MA, NC, & SC.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with all EM Workstreams and our DT partners to develop and implement standards across the EM project lifecycle.
  • Provide support to EM project teams to drive quality and delivery metric improvements.
  • Use lean practices and behaviors to improve the effectiveness of the interactions between project teams and stakeholders. Develop processes for handoffs between roles and functions.
  • Provide operational support to affected stakeholders post deployment, providing additional training/solutioning as needed and prioritizing corrective actions as well as enhancements to the implemented solution.
  • Participate in structured problem solving and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Deploy process improvements within the overall project – inclusive of strategic initiatives, operational process changes, and digital tools.
  • Support the continuous improvement activity internal to the EM team and with stakeholder interactions.
  • Travel required 30-40

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain and/or process improvement)
  • Plus, a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain and/or process improvement

The base pay range for this position is 98,300.00 - 115,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 26, 2025.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
