The Human Factors Specialist will manage the Crew Resource Management (CRM) / Human Factors (HF) training content/resources to ensure best practice CRM/HF Training is delivered in compliance with GCAA and IOSA regulations.
In this role, you will:
- Develop new and update existing CRM/HF course material and ensure version control and accessibility, as well as that the HF/CRM training complies with GCAA, EASA and other relevant regulatory and industry requirements and standards, including industry best practice.
- Organise Trainers/Instructors to ensure regulatory recognition and recency, as well as to develop CRM/HF subject knowledge and instructional techniques, with the aim of ensuring effective delivery and integration of HF/CRM training throughout all relevant training programmes.
- Promote effective HF/CRM across all Trainer/Instructor groups, including feedback, cooperation, leadership and mentoring.
- Conduct Human Factors sessions with the aim of supporting and developing performance.
- Monitor and analyse CRM/HF course evaluation data to validate the quality of course material and delivery. Propose improvements and development of course material and instructional techniques.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other parts of the organisation to develop and deliver effective CRM/HF training. Promote third-party interest in CRM/HF courses. Cooperate with Flight Safety in regards to safety reporting, investigation of safety-related events and other projects.
- Conduct CRM/HF studies and contribute to internal and external publications as well as conduct projects, tasks and administrative duties as required.
