Job Description SummaryHR and UR specialist working with the Lynn Supply Chain organizations. This individual will be responsible for data analytics management supporting both the HR and Operations team for the Lynn Supply Chain site. This will include design and implementation of automated solutions to provide data in support of solving various operational challenges. This individual will also provide Union Relations support through the step 2 grievance procedure for the Drafting Union at the Lynn site.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design and implementation of HR data analytics solutions in response to Manufacturing Operations problems/demands.
- Liaison to HR Service Delivery COEs to problem solve employee issues.
- Manage site-specific transactions such as reporting, grievance tracking and data audits.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. Strong partner to the HR managers and Union relations leader.
- Handle data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Partner with the site HR leaders to manage HR data and analytics and look to leverage LEAN tools to improve those processes.
- Support the leave process and partner with the benefits focals/disability team to track key metrics and find opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.
- Assist with conducting investigations including gathering, preserving, documenting and analyzing all available information and evidence.
- Provide employees and managers with an available point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners; navigates employees and manager to HR Shared Services when it is the more appropriate resource
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Human Resources)
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience cleaning, manipulating, and transforming complex datasets from multiple sources using tools such as R, Python, or an equivalent language.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and processes.
- Awareness and/or experience using lean tools in transactional work.
- Experience working with in a manufacturing/operation environment.
- Experience working with labor unions.
- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels.
- Desires employee-facing work; willingness to make horizontal moves to develop HR expertise.
- Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness.
- Supportive team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment; ability to diffuse a tense situation.
- Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality.
- Experience using Workday.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources.
