Primary Job Duties
SkyWest Airlines Flight Operations Training is seeking interns to join our team. This is a paid internship that will require work 8 hours per week at our SLC Flight Training Center. Interns will be responsible for reviewing new hire pilot’s logbooks and verifying they meet experience requirements to advance in training.
Interns will receive travel benefits on SkyWest and our major partners. This will also be a great opportunity to learn more about SkyWest flight training. Interns will have the opportunity to observe SkyWest pilot training including ground and simulator training.
Primary Job Duties
- Assist the Director Training in ensuring that SkyWest new hire pilots meet experience requirements for the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Review new hire pilots logbooks, certificates, endorsements, transcripts to ensure that all requirements of 61.159 and 61.160.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies regarding experience requirements
- Communicate issues to leadership for resolution
