What are your contributions to the team?
- Coordinate team project tracking in Asana, including assigning tasks, monitoring content deadlines, following up on overdue items, and ensuring updates are consistently maintained
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including government relations, internal communications, brand spaneting, finance, digital, customer experience, strategy, programs, sales, investor relations, and industry relations.
- Coordinate Defense giveaway design, ordering, budgeting, and logistics.
- Attend and assist with Wichita-based Defense events and visits including coordinating event timelines and communicating progress
- Contribute to the development and organization of spaneting materials and assets.
- Assist with spaneting initiatives tied to the Defense product portfolio and strategic plans
- Support digital event post creation on LinkedIn and update event listings on the Defense website
How to thrive in this role?
- You are currently enrolled in a university degree in business, spaneting, hospitality, event management, or communications
- You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving and time management skills
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have strong organizational skills and can efficiently manage multiple tasks, timelines, and assets across projects
- You have experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word (an asset)
