How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The DMS Logistics Specialist will help provide oversight & coordinate shipping activities from operational sites where DMS performs business operations. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage shipments of aircraft, engines and parts to and from airframe and engine teardown sites to DMS warehouse and repair facilitiesProvide oversight and guidance to material coordinators at the teardown sites and DMSPerform shipment inventory reconciliations in SAP. Collaboration with DMS ITC Specialist on all International shipments to ensure trade complianceConduct all SAP Training at Teardown sites to support teams, and provide guidance with transactionsAs SAP Subject-Matter-Experts Troubleshoot and correct SAP errors and perform system transactions.Establish SAP setup needs at teardown sites.Responsible for coordinating all parts robbing at airframe storage sites and managing backfills.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum of 3-5 years relevant professional working experience - aviation industry Bachelor’s degree preferred in Materials Management or related fieldPrior experience with Import & Export Clearance ProceduresWillingness to travel as required Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.Prior experience with MS Office , SAP, or other ERP knowledge.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
