The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Contracts Administrator (level 2) or Principal Contract Administrator (level 3) to join our team in Linthicum, MD, or Annapolis Junction, MD. This position will support the rapidly growing businesses serving Government, Commercial, and internal customer programs. This is a full-time position requiring an ability to work in-office 2 days a week, with the potential to grow to 100 onsite pending Security Clearance processing. You will learn and grow! What You Will Get To Do:
Responsibilities include the following:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirement, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on contractual terms and conditions.
Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements, prepare proposal submittal documents, and coordinate appropriate levels of internal review and approval.
Manage proposal fact-finding and conduct negotiations between customer with support from the program team.
Establish a good working relationship with customers to administer, modify, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contractual agreements.
Oversee contract performance including schedules and deliverables, maintain compliant contractual documentation/correspondence, and collaborate with the program team to recommend and complete actions to ensure satisfactory program performance.
Work with program business management team to closely monitor contract funding and payments.
Advise your program team of contractual rights and obligations on your assigned contracts, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
Collaborate effectively with other functional groups (finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, etc.) during all phases of the contract lifecycle.
Ability to effectively interface with customer counterparts via email, telephone, and in-person, when appropriate.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Contract Administrator (A02):
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Contracts adjacencies (Criminal Justice, English, International Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, Supply Chain Management) from an accredited institution with 2+ years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field or Masters degree.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
US citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Contract Administrator (A03):
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Contracts adjacencies (Criminal Justice, English, International Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, Supply Chain Management) from an accredited institution with 4+ years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field or Masters degree with 2+ years of experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
US citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Prior experience with fixed price and cost type contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, FAR/DFARS, proposals, and/or familiarity with DoD contracting

Salary Range: $68,800 - $110,900
Salary Range 2: $87,000 - $136,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
