This position works within the airworthiness department to complete a variety of administrative duties relating to aircraft technical records, maintenance planning, and work order management. Significant diligence and attention to detail is required. The technical records specialist provides all applicable information required by the airworthiness department to complete projects in a safe, airworthy, effective, and efficient manner.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and organize all technical records, including maintenance logs, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and component histories
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, Transport Canada) and company policies
- Enter maintenance and inspection data into the company’s records management system (e.g., Ramco, CAMP, etc)
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of records received from maintenance teams, vendors, or contractors
- Monitor documentation for compliance with airworthiness directives, maintenance program requirements, and other regulatory standards
- Generate reports on aircraft status, maintenance due dates, and historical records for management review
- Support fleet acquisitions or disposals by compiling and presenting technical records packages
- Implement and maintain archiving procedures for historical records in alignment with company and regulatory retention policies
- Facilitate quick retrieval of records for inspections or audits
- Create and support technical reports as required internally and externally.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Conair’s Policies and Procedures and applicable regulations.
- Complete assigned tasks and related paperwork in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Maintain currency as applicable to Conair Memos, Maintenance Bulletins, and notices.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Strong computer skills
- Data entry or record keeping work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze technical data and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to prioritize activities, be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Must be detail oriented and have a strong ability to maintain accurate records. Naturally organized and methodical with a focus on efficiency.
- Must have an intense desire to meet and exceed Conair’s goals and objectives while being a strong, professional team player with the ability to focus on customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with Office 365 applications.
- Post-Secondary accredited courses related to data entry, record keeping or program planning is an asset.
