Job Summary

ATS Learning Project Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of policies, standards, and processes for ATS Learning Teams. Drive change management and ensure compliance with CARs and ICAO requirements across ATS Learning the Approved Training Organization (ATO). Monitor process performance through data-driven methods, analyze feedback from process users. Facilitate RCA/CAP activities and deliver TGF training for operational consistency across all FIRs. Lead Quality Improvement Projects

Language Requirements: Bilingual (English and French), in accordance with Civil Aviation Regulations and or Official Languages requirements in order to either provide services to clients, the Public and or, to supervise and provide services to employees in the official language of their choice.

In this role you will:

  • Create, maintain and publish ATSL Policies, Standards, Processes and associated documentation related to the Training Governance Framework and Training Procedures Manual.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives within the Training Governance Feedback Tracker.

  • Change Management, manage and control all process changes, assessing impacts, obtaining approvals, creating plans, and ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.

  • Monitor process variation through control charts and identify risks to reduce variation.

  • Provide TGF training on quality standards and processes

  • Assist in and facilitate RCA and CAP implementation. Conduct follows up of effectiveness on ATSL findings.

  • Participate in Training Reviews and identify issues related to maintaining student progression.

  • Support Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) using the PDCA methodology.

  • Support the Approved Training Organization and drive compliance with regulations.

  • Support Quality Control activities associated with CARs Compliance, ICAO Requirements and internal requirements.

  • Support the group with respect to the financial aspects of business / project decision making and designs policies or programs to support the group.

What you bring:

  • Graduation with a degree from a recognized university or a combination of education (such as a college certificate in a related field of study) and work experience.

  • 5 years experience managing documents such as policies, standards, and processes, and preparing accurate, compliant documentation aligned with regulations, organizational standards, and procedures, including version control, template creation, access management, and archiving.

  • 5 years’ experience in implementing learning processes and best practices.

  • Experience in managing a project and knowledge of associated tools and processes.

  • Experience in developing and managing SharePoint online (creating pages, managing metadata, etc)

  • Ability to meet challenging parallel deadlines with frequent meetings.
