Position Summary:
As an Accounting File Clerk, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial and administrative records that support our high-precision aerospace manufacturing processes. You’ll collaborate closely with Accounting and Operations teams to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately classify, file, and archive financial documents, including invoices, purchase orders, receiving records, and billing files.
- Perform data entry for accounting transactions and update electronic database systems with precision.
- Organize and index documents to facilitate easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing by preparing files for reconciliation and financial review.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with internal financial controls and external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Quality Control staff to ensure alignment between production documentation and accounting records.
- Digitize paper documents—scanning, tagging, and uploading to secure document management systems.
- Address file-related inquiries from internal teams promptly and professionally.
Preferred Skills:
- 1–2 years of experience in an accounting, clerical, or data-entry role—ideally in manufacturing or aerospace settings.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); familiarity with ERP or document management software a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data handling.
- Strong analytical mindset, able to spot inconsistencies and escalate when needed.
- Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Discretion and reliability in handling sensitive financial documents.
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
