Summary
The Accountant II is responsible for assisting in preparation activities of the Accounting Department for accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, weekly metrics, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets. The Accountant II will work directly with the Controller, Assistant Controller, and Financial Analyst related to the company’s month end close, consolidations, internal reporting functions, including various levels of financial analysis.
Essential Functions
- Inventory management including compliance oversight, warehouse corrections as needed and month end reconciliation.
- Oversee cycle count compliance and provide necessary documentation to maintain Cycle Count permission from Corporate via JAOA submission.
- Manages AR at the Plant level with assistance from the sales group and Division AR
- Oversee AP management with assistance from Division AP
- Participate in monthly/quarterly internal close process.
- Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
- Performs account reconciliations for key accounts.
- Maintain and administer the Oracle ARC Reconciliation tool.
- Audit and test SOX controls to ensure that they are performed as required and is in accordance with test scripts/ controls objectives and within budgeted time allow.
- Reporting and analysis of weekly cash flow, inventory reporting, and various other items, as required.
- Coordinates with all levels of PCC Structurals personnel to gather, analyze and summarize requested information.
- Interprets and applies PCC financial and other applicable policies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
3-5 years of Accounting/Finance experience
BS/BA Accounting or Finance

Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required
- Two to five years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Planning and organization skills - an ability to plan and manage multiple projects
- Able to consistently demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- Action-oriented with the ability to apply policy and make decisions with moderate supervision
- Technical skills in financial analysis
